Make burritos & ride around San Francisco to hand a warm bundle of love to those in need? Vamos! First time at Burrito Project San Francisco and not my last 🚴🏻‍♀️❤️🌯

Teresa Ono

Great group of volunteers helping to feed homeless with healthy vegan burritos. Love that they get companies to sponsor a night to pay expenses and provide volunteers. Get your company involved and have fun helping others.

Megha Jindal

It is an amazing place to help serve! Loved it. Will be going more often.

David Alexander Díaz

A completely volunteer effort, which makes healthy, homemade burritos and and distributes them to the homeless and hungry on the streets of SF. What a worthwhile charity, and so much fun to participate in!

Doug Shader

It's ALWAYS a wonderful experience either assembling the burritos with the diverse group of volunteers or delivering burritos to the homeless.

About Burrito Project San Francisco

Burrito Project SF was founded in 2016 by Jimmy Ryan. A native of Los Angeles, Jimmy started as a volunteer at Burrito Project LA. When he moved to San Francisco, he started to volunteer at Martin de Porres House of Hospitality on a weekly basis. With the support of the community at Martin's, Burrito Project SF was launched. Since then Burrito Project SF has grown and is organized by a committee each month. Burrito Project SF is part of a national movement to provide a simple meal to improve the lives of people living in hunger or with housing insecurity. There are Burrito Projects located throughout North America including Los Angeles, Orange County, Oakland, Salt Lake City, and others. If you're interested in starting a Burrito Project in your city, feel free to contact us using the form below and we will be happy to help share our knowledge to help you get started.
